Tower of London Tickets & Tours

There are two ways to access the Tower of London:

• Main Entrance: The primary access point is at the West Gate, situated across from the Tower Shop. The Tower Hill Coach and Car Park, just a 2-minute stroll from the Tower of London, is your best choice for convenient parking. You can reach the West Gate by taking Lower Thames Street.
• Middle Drawbridge: Facing the River Thames, this entryway can be found near the Tower of London Gift Shop. The Tower Hill Coach and Car Park, also just a 2-minute walk away, is the nearest parking option. Follow the riverside path to reach the Middle Drawbridge entrance.

Note: The Middle Drawbridge is the designated entrance for groups. However, if you have admission tickets, you are also welcome to use it.

• The Tower of London is a historic building with spiral staircases and uneven cobbled paths, so it might be difficult for wheelchair users to navigate the site. That said, there are staff at the tower who will happily support you if you require them.
• Wheelchairs are available for free. You can pre-book it or get one on a first-come-first-serve basis.
• Disabled guests can bring an accompanying carer with them, free of cost.
• Accessible toilets are available throughout the site.
• Seating is available outside the Tower Green and the White Tower.
• You can get induction loops from the ticket boxes or any of the shops in the tower.
• A Digital Visitor Guide in British Sign Language is available for guests.
• A trained British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter will guide you throughout the tour.
• The Coins and Kings exhibition and the Crown Jewels exhibition have braille displays for visually impaired visitors.
• Tactile 2D-raised images of the Crown Jewels are available in the Jewel House.
• The Jewel House features level access and a moving walkway ('travelator') for viewing convenience. The Palace Hosts can stop the travelator upon request.
• Lifts and ramps are available in some regions of the tower and its restaurants.
• Trained assistance dogs are allowed inside the site.

• Photography is not allowed at the Martin Tower, Jewel House, and both chapels on the grounds.
• The tower has no cloakroom, so luggage is generally not allowed inside.
• Outside food and drinks are restricted inside the building.
• Explosives, fireworks, weapons, knives, tripods, and pepper spray are prohibited at the tower.

The Tower of London offers a range of dining facilities conveniently located for you to stop by and enjoy a quick bite during your visit.

• New Armouries Café: This café offers a wide range of meals and a special menu for kids. It is open according to the Tower of London's opening times.
• Tower Wharf: Treat yourself to delicious snacks, refreshing mocktails, and expertly crafted cocktails along the Wharf by the River Thames. The Tower Warf is open on Mondays and Sundays from 11:00 to 17:30, Tuesday to Thursday from 10:00 to 17:30, and Fridays and Saturdays from 10.00 to 19.30.
• Ravens Café: The Ravens cake and loaded dog are a must-try at this outdoor cafe. They also serve Vegan options! The cafe is open Mondays and Sundays from 11:30 to 17:00 and Tuesday to Saturday from 10:30 to 17:00.
• Jewel Kiosk: Located near the Jewel House, this Kiosk offers fresh juices and snacks. The Kiosk is open daily from 11:30 to 16:30, depending on the weather.
• Ice Cream Carts: Enjoy flavourful ice creams and sorbets from Devon. Gluten-free and dairy-free options are available! The ice cream carts run daily from 10:30 to 16:30, depending on the weather.

Luxury: Cheval Three Quays (0.3 km), Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square (0.6 km), Bob W Tower of London (1.9 km)

Mid-budget: Tower Suites by Blue Orchid Hotels (0.3 km), Leonardo Royal Hotel London City (0.6 km), The Tower Hotel (1.4 km)

Low-budget: Travelodge London Central Tower Bridge (0.4 km), Wombat's City Hostel London (0.96 km), Premier Inn London City (Tower Hill) hotel (1.1 km)
