There are two ways to access the Tower of London:

  • Main Entrance: The primary access point is at the West Gate, situated across from the Tower Shop. The Tower Hill Coach and Car Park, just a 2-minute stroll from the Tower of London, is your best choice for convenient parking. You can reach the West Gate by taking Lower Thames Street.
  • Middle Drawbridge: Facing the River Thames, this entryway can be found near the Tower of London Gift Shop. The Tower Hill Coach and Car Park, also just a 2-minute walk away, is the nearest parking option. Follow the riverside path to reach the Middle Drawbridge entrance.

Note: The Middle Drawbridge is the designated entrance for groups. However, if you have admission tickets, you are also welcome to use it.

  • The Tower of London is a historic building with spiral staircases and uneven cobbled paths, so it might be difficult for wheelchair users to navigate the site. That said, there are staff at the tower who will happily support you if you require them.
