Established in 1828, it is one of the oldest zoos in the world and is home to over 800 species of animals from all around the globe. The Pink Zone has giraffes, zebras, monkeys, warthogs, meerkats, African wild dogs, lemurs, otters, pygmy hippos, okapis and sloths. Two must-see exhibits in the pink zone are Monkey Valley and Rainforest Life.
The Orange Zone has birds like macaws, flamingos and penguins. You will also find coatis, squirrel monkeys, meerkats, butterflies, llamas, camels, alpacas, Galapagos tortoises, lions, and mongooses. Visit the Tiny Giants exhibit here.

At the Penguin Beach deck, you can feed the Hamboult Penguins inside the ZSL London Zoo. Watch these extremely friendly birds take a swim and get a chance to feed them during lunch. For just £10, get up and close with the penguins and learn about their daily life at the zoo straight from the zookeepers. You can feed the penguins corn, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, and fish. The zoo will provide them. This experience is completely wheelchair accessible, is only for ages three and above and is not included in the admission tickets.

You can overcome the fear through zookeepers and hypnotherapists and learn how spiders are friendly creatures. Meerkats are a joy to watch in their natural habitat. For just £54, you can meet the meerkats at the ZSL London Zoo and feed them for 20 minutes. With this experience, you get to learn interesting facts about the meerkats, their daily life, and their diet and get answers to any questions you may have about these animals. Only four visitors are allowed at once, giving you enough opportunity to interact with the meerkats. Children must be above five years to participate in this experience.
The Komodo Dragons are residents of the ZSL London Zoo, especially the Gana species. The Komodo Dragons, the world's biggest lizards, are kept active by the zookeepers through scent trails. Their daily life inside the zoo is fascinating. You can learn about the species, their diet and more from the zookeepers who care for them. The experience costs £110, including entry to the zoo, where you can meet other animals. If you are fascinated by reptiles, you must sign up for this experience.
Titi monkeys, lion-headed tamarins, goeldi's monkeys and other members of the rainforest are waiting for you at the ZSL London Zoo. The price for this experience is £54, which comes with feeding the monkeys and seeing different varieties of species within the rainforest. You can ask any question to the zookeepers and learn interesting facts about the inhabitants of the Rainforest Life attraction. Children must be above six years of age to partake in this experience. You must wear closed-toe footwear when you go to meet the monkeys.
This experience takes you through the ocean using sounds, textures and sights. Made in a story format, take your toddlers and learn more about marine animals and their life in these weekly sessions. The experience is recommended for babies between 0-8 months and is organised every Tuesday at 10:30 AM. One parent can accompany the toddlers to guide them through various exhibits. The price for this experience is £10 per child with free admission to parents or guardians.
All your questions about giraffes will be answered by zookeepers who look after these majestic animals daily. And not just that, you get to be a giraffe keeper for a day too! Conducted in groups of four, the Giraffe Keeper Experience lets you interact with giraffes, feed them their favourite treats and watch them in their natural habitat. Children should be above eight years old to participate in this experience. People with reduced mobility should be accompanied by an adult, as this experience is not completely wheelchair accessible.
Spend 20 minutes with Hamboult penguins at the Penguin Beach inside ZSL London Zoo. Watch them swim, eat and playfully interact with each other. You can also take pictures with the penguins and take them home as souvenirs. This experience does not include feeding the penguins, and children must be above eight years of age to participate in the activity. The experience is organised daily between 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM from April to October. Entry to Meet The Penguins costs £54 for a single person.
