After a 17-year hiatus from the West End, Ewan McGregor (Trainspotting, Moulin Rouge!, Big Fish) makes a triumphant return in My Master Builder, a contemporary play by American playwright Lila Raicek. McGregor, an actor with 52 nominations and 29 wins, including a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy, takes on the role of Henry Solness, an architect whose life becomes entangled with past desires.

Joining McGregor is Elizabeth Debicki, renowned for her portrayal of Princess Diana in The Crown, a role that garnered her an Emmy nomination. Kate Fleetwood, a Tony and Olivier Award nominee, plays Elena Solness. Fleetwood's distinguished stage career includes performances in Macbeth and London Road.

The production is directed by Michael Grandage, an acclaimed director with an Olivier Award, a Tony Award, and four WhatsOnStage Awards. This bold new play reimagines themes from Ibsen’s The Master Builder in a modern setting, weaving a gripping narrative about ambition, love, and the ghosts of the past. Running for a strictly limited engagement at Wyndham’s Theatre, this is a must-see event!

Fireworks aren’t the only thing set to explode this July 4th in the Hamptons. Publishing powerhouse Elena Solness is throwing a lavish party to celebrate her husband, renowned architect Henry Solness, as he unveils his latest masterpiece. But just as the champagne is about to flow, an unexpected guest crashes the soirée—Mathilde, a former student of Henry’s with a past that’s anything but academic. As the night unfolds, secrets unravel, old flames reignite, and the cracks in the Solnesses’ marriage threaten to become fault lines. By sunrise, nothing will be the same… but who will be left standing?
